Development Funding

We are long-term clients of Shane McDermott at Finance New Zealand. Over the years, Shane has assisted us with development funding for a number of property developments.

Recently, our development group faced two major funding hurdles that he helped resolve. The first involved releasing equity, and the second involved finding land for medium-density housing.

The former transaction was outside the appetite of most lenders because of our region, but Shane went the extra mile to find an "out of the box solution." Shane advocated on our behalf to Finance New Zealand's specialist property finance funders to find a suitable solution. Shane placed our request with a reputable funder despite current economic challenges. This allowed us to settle on time so we can move forward with realising our project.
